Quadro design director speaks at HM Treasury

Morag Hutcheon, British Female Inventor of the Year 2006, gave a short talk last night (Tuesday) at the Treasury as part of a 'Women in Business' seminar. The evening seminar was attended by 70 people with a significant number coming from HM Treasury. The purpose was to raise the awareness of the enormous potential of women in business and their creative talents. Morag spoke about her pre.vu invention* and the issues of fund raising for women. She shared the platform with four other female entrepreneurs.

HM Treasury hosted the Women in Business Seminar which was led by Gita Patel. Gita is the driving force behind Trapezia, a fund specifically aimed at investing in women focused businesses. It aims to change cultural and social attitudes to women focused business by challenging existing thinking and re-examining how we improve funding and partnering with the goal of nurturing the companies they work with to achieve their best chance of success.
