Ryman's buy could signal HQ shift to downtown
Nate J. Greene, managing partner for Colliers International Nashville's office, said the three related companies at 300 Broadway are hoping to find a building to buy, but are open to leasing as well. "We've identified several properties that might work, but don't have any agreement yet," he said.
"We feel like we're an urban company, and downtown is where we want to be," said Mathews Co.'s President Bert Mathews.
Is Ryman Hospitality Properties planning to move its corporate headquarters downtown?
Brian Abrahamson, Ryman Hospitality's spokesman, said the company doesn't have immediate plans for that building. "Moving some of Ryman's offices Under Armour Curry 3 Lux to Lower Broad makes sense, as their new property is only two blocks from the company's namesake," he said, referring to Ryman Auditorium.
